priority mail or first class?

Your regular mail is normally first class mail, and takes on an average of 3 to 4 days to get from place to place.
Priority Mail is handled quicker, at an additional cost, and can take 2 to 3 days from origin to destination.
So it would be up to you whether you wish to pay the premium for quicker delivery, maybe 1 day, or pay the normal rate.

Priority Mail is better First class means a simple thing as a regular stamp envelope

I think that priority mail is better, they have guaranteed delivery, first class mail is more expensive for weighty packages and there is no delivery guarantee.
I was told this by someone that works at the USPS.
The price for priority is the same for heavy or light package within the class and it is like paying for airmail cause of the guarantee it goes the fastest route.
It really depends on what you are mailing/shipping though.

Priority Mail costs more but will get there faster (2-4 day guaranteed delivery).
First Class is the standard rate for most things and it gets there when it gets there.

They are equal. Priority Mail gets first class handling.

Priority mail is for heavier packages and is the same as first class(which is for letters) as far as shipping is concerned.

First class, because gets there faster and safer, but may be a little more expensive, its still worth it.
