Can the school take action for it when it didnt even have anything to do with school? Can they suspend me or make me serve any other punishment? It would be great to get some helpful answers, not ones that say oh your stupid for doing that you should get in trouble! thanks people i already get that it was wrong, but i didnt mean anything by it! it was just for fun! im actually an all A student and i never get in trouble!!

The school can be involved because it was harassment of a teacher. If you like her I don't understand why you would of done it...but you did and you can get in trouble with the school for it. I would go clean it up and beg her forgiveness.
Maybe you could even work out something with her - Mow her lawn - etc...

In most cases a school can come in and take action against you, for one simple reason, the person was a teacher. However, that teacher would have to be the one to take it to the school. If the teacher does not pursue it than the school cannot pursue it. To me it sounds like the teacher was satisfied with simply having the police talk to you, so I would guess that is about as far as it is going to go. Just remember though, if you do it again, or to any other teacher the results may or may not be different. Trust me, it is all about what the teacher wants to pursue. The teacher's decision is actually the final decision on the matter. So while you like them, at the same time, I hope that they like you. Best of luck.

Vandalizing someone's property is considered fun and games for you? You can no longer say you're an all 'A' student and never get into trouble because you did. Got any idea how long it takes to clean up after a thing like that? You were thoughtless, irresponsible, and immature. You intentionally invaded and vandalized someone's property for 'fun'. You did this to a teacher's home that you like! Thinking of setting fire to the teacher's home that you don't like?

The school should get involved, your parents should get involved, and YOU should be the one that cleans up the mess you made.

Next time you ask your folks for a little more freedom, a later curfew time or more resposibility, understand why they just said 'No'.

Yes -- according to most courts in the US, the school can take action against you for anything which could impact school activities -- and that includes your actions against a teacher outside of school context.

As to what they can or will do -- that depends on how you deal with the situation, and whether you can work out something with the teacher so the teacher asks the school not to punish you.

Well yes you can get in trouble but it will probably be nothing big. Just be grateful that you will have a funny story to tell. Don't worry it won't keep you out of college or anything.

Yes the school can take action. I've seen it happen in a similar situation. You might just get a 3 day suspension.

Teacher's house + student's action = IT DOES have something to do with school.

PS. Legally, this was vandalism.
