How can you sue somebody for you being an idiot? You should have ready the bottle and followed the dosage on it. You're a grown man. Take responsibility for your actions, and for failing to take care of yourself by seeking medical treatment in a timely manner. You caused your condition to get this bad. Walmart should not have to have employees follow stupid shoppers into the restroom and watch their every move. Your actions border on retarded...

I don't know the directions PRINTED ON THE BOX of Zantac, but I am POSITIVE the warnings specifically stated a MAXIMUM dose that is MUCH less than 50 pills. Unless you can prove Wal-mart was, at MINIMUM, aware that you were taking too many pills at one time, you don't have enough to get yourself laughed out of court.
If you drank a gallon of Clorox, would you sue over that? Actually, I KNOW you wouldn't. Your family may, but you would't be around to sue.
If you attempt to file such a suit, I believe both the makers of Zantac AND Wal-mart had a case against YOU. I just don't know for exactly what.

You cant open a lawsuit against Zantac and Walmart. They did nothing wrong. You were the one that toke too many and had a reaction. How old are you? You are stupid to think you can blame this on anyone but your self.

Before using Zantac
Do not use Zantac if you are allergic to ranitidine.
Heartburn is often confused with the first symptoms of a heart attack. Seek emergency medical attention if you have chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, and a general ill feeling.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to take Zantac if you have:
- porphyria.
FDA pregnancy category B. Zantac is not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Ranitidine passes into breast milk. Do not take Zantac without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

Using Zantac may increase your risk of developing pneumonia. Symptoms of pneumonia include chest pain, fever, feeling short of breath, and coughing up green or yellow mucus. Talk with your doctor about your specific risk of developing pneumonia.
The Zantac effervescent tablet may contain phenylalanine. Talk to your doctor before using this form of ranitidine if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).

Yeah, that's "hilarious". Call your insurance company and see if they want to help you. A civil suit like this can be expensive, especially when there will be multiple layers of "blame". Should the product have warnings? Maybe. Does not having warnings make it defectively dangerous? Maybe not. Were you instrumental in causing the damage? Undoubtedly. Does that excuse the manufacturer from all liability? Not really. Depending upon what state you're in, you may well have a valid claim for partial compensation for your loss, resulting from an "expectable misuse" of the product. You wouldn't be the first to win such a claim. For example, there is a famous case in which the victim poured perfume into a lit candle, "so it would smell nice", resulting in catastrophe, for which the manufacturer was (in fact) held liable. Speak to one or more law offices in your vicinity to determine what steps you should take, if any.

This is another troll question but.........
The short and sweet of it is 'no', you can't sue Wally World for your stupidity. You failed to follow recommended dosage instructions and were an idiot for taking the entire bottle.
OR
You shoplifted the Zantac for use in making Meth. Store security personnel were following you so you decided to do the stupid thing and swallow the evidence.
Either way, you've won "Most Moronic Question of the Hour!"

Mr. Matthew anything taken in excess is dangerous. Remember that. You must avoid self medication. It is so dangerous. If you can afford to go to a Doctor, do so. The Doctor will give proper dosage and meds for you. Do not blame your actions on other people. Take responsibility for them. You should check out what you contributed to the situation. Walmart only sells products. It is not part of their job to ask every consumer what they will do with their purchases. Read labels and boxes next time!
