Rin Tin Tin, Lassie, Benji, or Boomer?

I grew up watching Lassie and Timmie as well as Rin Tin Tin

I am an unrepentant dog lover. It is hard to choose, but I will say Lassie. Only because we had a big old fur ball collie that patiently let we kids climb all over her. We would grab her tail and she would drag us around the house.

I grew up loving Lassie from the first movie she was in, with
I think Roddy McDowell. I think it was Lassie Come Home.
But I'm not positive after all this time. I especially liked the old
series of Lassie with Tommy Retig in black and white days.
I know there have been alot of Lassie offspring to play her
part over the years and you can tell they are different if you
look carefully. That's why I loved the original lady, with that
strong blaze on her forehead.
Years later, I also lost my heart to little Benji and was sorry
when I learned he'd died. He sure was a little cutie.
I remember the name Boomer, but I can't picture the dog.
Or if he was in movies, or in a series.
I try to see all of the animal movies. Especially the talking
animals. I'll bet the animal wranglers have their hands full
when they have to orchestrate their actions in the scenes.

Didn't we just do this last week? I voted for Rin Tin Tin, Lassie was second, Benji wasn't even in the running, Goofy 3rd place, Pluto 4th place, Shaggy Dog 5th.

There are so many that I loved, Rin Tin Tin, Lassie, Benji, my pup looks like the Taco Bell dog, Sounder, Hooch from Turner and Hooch, I love them all, Otis and Milo, Pugly looks like Otis and Oliver my cat, "walks" him

This is getting too strange! Last night I was on youtube and I was watching clips from the old Lassie programs! Remember the one where they get the new electric refrigerator? I love Lassie!!

Lassie. I loved the end of the show when it showed Lassie sitting holding his/her paw in the air. I loved the tune too but I never could whistle and still can't!

I remember watching and liking them all, but I liked Rin Tin Tin and his show the best.
