I am currently 22. I would invest it for fifty years and if I get returns that the market has averaged over the last 80 or so years (12%) I would have over 2.5 billion dollars. You know what you could do with that kind of money.....what you could give? Anything you want!

Wow - I too would be debt free by sundown, say goodbye to my current job, donate to my church and some charities, and then I would just enjoy life to the fullest. I would want to travel with my family, read more books, eat great meals, take days and just do nothing... Just use the time and the money to be able to really experience all the great things about life w/ the ones I love!

Payoff all of my debt except the home and use the interest on that as a write-off, give $10K a year to each of my kids as non-taxable gifts, donate half of the remaining to charity, and invest the rest in interest-bearing living expense accounts and retire.

Be debt free by sundown. The remainder after taxes and a generous donation to the charities of my choice would earn enough to replace more than my current income. I would not 'retire' as many people understand the term, but my current job would be history.
