Sometimes when my laptop is on and running, audio plays for no reason at all. Yesterday something that sounded like a Dave Navarro/Ron Jeremy podcast played for no reason even though no programs were running in the front. This has happened a few times and it always sounds like a podcast. Does it have something to do with being on a wireless network?

Unless you've scheduled it to play such things it shouldn't be doing that, whether you're on a wireless network or not.

If you haven't told the computer to do that then you've probably got some kind of malware infestation.
