For a unique corporation, you could pick Lush. If you're not familiar, they make bath products and are pretty interesting as far a marketing goes. They literally spend no money on advertising, but they're insanely popular and have quite a cult following. It was started by a co-founder of the Body Shop that left when he felt the BS was no longer living up to it's claims of being environmentally friendly. Supposedly, they're very progressive and environmentally friendly. And there products are pretty unique and different from other bath products.

Or, you could always pick a controversial company, like Walmart or Nike. That will give you plenty to write on. If you choose Walmart, you should watch the documentary "Walmart: the high cost of low price," it will give you LOTS to talk about.

A generic corporation may not be that bad, considering that you will have to find sources on the company. GE is a huge company with lots of interesting things. or try a music record company if you are interested in music.

Google or Yahoo. Both have cool cultures and treat/reward their employees well - especially Google. Southwest Airlines is also good at doing this.
Or pick one that suits your fancy out of the " 100 Best Companies to Work For" @ http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/bestcompanies/full_list/
Good luck!

Wal-mart - they are chock full of material both good from a corporation standpoint and bad from a small-business owner's standpoint.
