Sweety, Witch is a word Christians called the Pagan and now call the Wiccans, it's a religion nothing to o with the immortal mythological animals you hear of on TV.
We all desire to survive, that's why we pass on our genes and have babies-to somehow stay alive in some way. Everyone fears death, but we all will meet our maker.

If you are trying to speak of OtherKin, they are lost souls-They are NOT fairies, vampires and mermaids. They are people who have trouble socializing and get into a very sad life online. Don't become that.
There are beautiful creatures on the Other Side, who are unicorns, and fairies, and warlocks (I've seen most of these creatures) The reason we remember them is because we used to live in Heaven and the spiritual realm before being born. The Creatures are never born, that's why they are immortal. They stay in a life where they are never born.
No Mytho Animal comes to Earth in anything other than a spirit form to comfort someone and then go home again.
Think about this one-The unicorn is pure, clear-How would they survive in a sinful world with pain? They would just die.
They do not come into a human body..There are NO LOST or mixed up souls.

Now, You can have one as your spirit animal guide. I have a fairy and a unicorn totem animal.
They give wisdom and they give their human their traits.
You may have one, and feel a pull towards them. Learn more about them on google.

I am sure it is in the same category as really being a witch warlock etc
but I have a lady friend that is from a country area in Tibet and they have what they call something that translate in English to 'magical' people
thing is - all the rest of the people in the area feed and care for the magical people so they can roam the area and seek out who to be of service to for that day

they have a very thin fragile brittle paper made out of rice and even called rice paper
on some festival day every year those who want to be qualified to be magical persons come to the festival temple built that year for that purpose. A piece of rice paper about 4 feet by 4 feet in size is placed on top of rock gravel. The person comes up and stands on the paper and someone else pulls the paper out from underneath them. If the paper tears or rips then they are excluded. If the paper easily slides out intact then that person is recognized by the community as not being subject to the same gravity as normal people. It is said that in an area approximately as big as Rhode Island usually 1, 2 or 3 but sometimes as many as 14 people at a time have passed the test that year.

Do you weigh the same as a duck?

Are you made of wood?

Do you float of water?

Have you turned anyone into a newt, even if they got better?

Have you got a wart on your nose, and do you look like a witch?

Um... Witches are mortal...

Warlocks aren't real... they are not bad witches.

As for Mermaid... your guess is as good as mine.

Witches are mortal. They are practitioners of magic. Worlok is a term used for those witches that have betrayed thier coven mates in some major way.

Witches are mortal. Warlocks are too. So are Mermaids. Anything that can be killed is mortal.
