Things I know:

- Depo-Provera discontinuation rates are reported as 30-something percent to 70-something percent, depending on where and age.
- "The prevalence of Depo Provera use was 14.4%"- from "Depo-Provera® and gingivitis among United States women" by L. Susan Taichman, RDH, MPH, 2007
- “About 10 percent of American females aged 15 to 19 who use birth control use Depo-Provera, compared with 3 percent of women in the United States overall.” ( http://sexualhealth.e-healthsource.com/?p=news1&id=523848 )
- “In 2002, about 47 percent of female teenagers (4.6 million), and about 46 percent of male teenagers (4.7 million) had had sexual intercourse at least once.” (CDC 2002 teen stats)

Clearly a lot of people quit this contraceptive; but how many?

I in basic terms use condoms because I got here off it a 365 days in the past. i did not sense secure with them on the starting up yet i won't be able to apply the pill or mini pill. It took 5 months for classes to start up coming back and that turned right into somewhat hellish. they don't look common yet yet they are consistent. Use condoms besides in case you opt for to be secure as regardless of if it remains on your gadget for some months, it may happen and has got here about that folk have become pregnant very quickly.
