NOOO!!! Dont put ANYTHING on him, and DONT wash it with soap. Leave it alone, its caused by hormones in his system from you when he was inutero. LEAVE IT ALONE.

Get him gas drops if he has gas, comfort him if he's upset, feed him if he's hungry, hold him if he's alone, help him get to sleep if he's tired, change him if he's wet, and talk to him if he's bored.

wow.. i was about to ask this same question.. my son is 4 weeks old and i noticed that he has a baby acne problem too as of yesterday. I first thought it was an allergic reaction to the soap we washed his sheets in or possibly my clothing because i notice it when im feeding him... then i thought it is a rash from when he peed his bed some kinda got on the side he was sleeping on, so i constantly wiped his face with warm water...

I seem to notice it gets brighter red when hes crying, and when hes calm and or asleep, its still there but not as noticeable.. i cant wait to read the answers to this question because im going through the same thing..
Thanks for asking!!!

My son also had baby acne. His doctor told me to buy Dove Sensitive Skin soap, just wash his face with it. It cleared my son's face up in less than a week. The doctor said one bar would last you a year. My family members even tried it on themselves & it cleared their face up too.

Hope this helps.

My baby has it too, I did not know babies can get acne. My other two did not. Don't rub anything on their face, just use water and don't kiss them so much on the face. Your child has sensitive skin that is all.

Just so you know they are called milk pimples. Just make sure you keep his face clean thats about all you can do. It is just a stage they go through. My son had them as well. They will go away. DO NOT SCRATCH THEM or try to POP THEM (this will cause scarring) The crying is something else maybe gas or acid reflux or something like that. Hope this helps:)

No. I've always heard you should leave the baby acne alone or it will leave bad scarring. Sorry.

My daughter had it too. Keep her from scratching them, and it'll go away on it's own- took almost four months for my daughter's to go away, but she's much better- save now she has a constant drool rash on her chin from teething!

No! It's ok! Most babies get this..it'll go away on it's own. The crying has nothing to do with it.
