Whenever I am in the area, I stay in a place called CABANA. It is actually in Bauang, close to Agoo.

The place is a cluster of huts that are formed around the garden and swimming pool. The cottages look rustic outside, complete with cogon grass and bamboo walls, but they are just finishing touches. The rooms are actually air-conditioned.

CABANA is by the beach, so you will probably skip the pool and head for the beach. They serve steak and kidney pies - - the place is owned by Australians.
