I think it is because most people are sure they will be rejected and turned down or whatever. But yes it is pretty difficult.

It's because of the fact that you feel vulnerable and susceptible to being rejected and having your feelings hurt by the ones that you love the most.

Because they matter. Telling them, opening yourself up completely to them, is putting you in a vulnerable spot that feels uncomfortable. What you feel is fear - fear of being found inadequate, fear of rejection. And yet, if you can get to that position of trust with the other person, telling them can be wonderful for both of you.

we fear rejections
also there is the fact that sometimes the words jsut won't come because they are too final-too commiting
Stephen King wrote that "Words diminish what you feel" I really believe that with all my heart.
and sometimes a simple
"I love you " is just not enough to capture whats in your heart

Mostly beacuse of the fear of being rejected.
Love is like chasing a shadow! If you chase, it'll evade. If you turn around, it will follow you.
But Love is as substanceless as a shadow! You can't catch & hold it as you hold your member.

i believe in showing love rather than saying it. i love you are such easy words that anyone can just simply say, but showing it is much more harder for some people. so if you are saying you love me and not showing it you are lying to me. doing the simplest things is showing love.

telling one how we feel can be hard sometimes becuz it leaves us vulnerable..but just keep in mind that we should always say I love you becuz you never know if you will get another chance..
