2 weeks ago I was joking around with a friend and he accidentally hit me in the head with a glass bottle. In seconds I had a bump. I put ice on it and it hurt but I did not think it was that serious because I've had 2 concussions in the past and know what they are like. It's now 2 weeks later and when I touch the spot where I got hit it still hurts. Should I be concerned or does it usually take bumps this long to fully heal?

Well i would saty go to the doctor and figure out whats wrong. I had a friend who had a concussion about a month ago and the spot were he got hit still hurts him...it was a football accident......

You might want to see a doctor. I got hit by a kid twice my size in soccer and practically did a backflip and got knocked out but i was back to normal within a couple days.

It's likely that it's more than just a bump. Our skulls are surprisingly fragile. Better go to the doctor and get x-rayed just to be sure.

As long as you aren't having any other symptoms such as nausea or dizziness you should be ok. It may take up to two to three weeks for all tenderness to subside. Take care!

You need to have a doctor take a look. Possibly an infected concession.
