My favorite goes back many years, FF7 is the best. But, all my other favorite games are in that area of time as well. Basically the PS1. Star Ocean 2, Valkyrie Profile, Tomb Raider, etc. The new games are horrible.
As for the most popular, probably Halo 3 or World Of Warcraft. But, don't get confused, these games are on the lowest of the low on my list.

Battlefields 2 is the funnest. Since there are so many mindless idiots out there Halo 3 is the most popular right now.
and NOT EVERYONE LIKES HALO 3 its retarded, along with all the other halo games

Pokemon Puzzle League for the Nintendo 64
Crash Bandicoot games for the Playstation 1
I like the older games.

My favorite series is the Metal Gear series. I also like the GTA games. If I want to go way back in regards of what an old favorite of mine would be, it would have to be Streets of Rage 2.
