If not removed the machine will eat it.
If removed uh oh - however the phone call you made saved you - you did make that call?
Good Idea for all. Take all cards you carry and copy both the front and back and keep at home just in case you need to report them quickly!

Well... yes and no. We all get sidetracked by the stress of life, but your ATM card is SUPER important. Losing that is just gonna add to that stress. So, it depends on what caused you to forget it. BTW, did you call to have it suspended??? Not doing that would be really stupid! Good luck.

I hope that's not stupid since I did it twice myself! Thank goodness most of the machines these days have you just slide the card in and out. I think it just means you were distracted.

Leaving your debit card in the ATM is excusable. Bragging about it is beyond stupid.

How could you.Do you have back up money.Whoever takes your card out can use it at places where the clerk doesn't ask for ID.You should cancel your card and get another one before the crook takes alot of money out of you or all.

Don't beat yourself up, I used to work at a bank and people did that alot, as well as leave their money. They never came back for it either and each year, we'd have about $200 in our Christmas fund.

Everyone makes mistakes. I've almost left a drive thru without my card before...I could see how it happens. I don't think that one act makes you stupid...
