Hello,
I recently bought a new Samsung 906BW LCD monitor and I just cannot get it to display the proper resolution (1280*1024).
I try going to the setting of the display but the max I can get is 1280*768. any ideas?

Thanks,
Lior

A 906BW is going to look bat at 1280 by 1024, it's native resolution is 1440 by 900.

Upgrade the video card drivers and try again.

Try reinstalling your video card drivers. (This worked for me)
Steps:
1. Go to start then right click my computer
2. Click Properties
3. Go to the hardware tab
4. Click device manager
5. Expand display adapters
6. In my case it says NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300, whatever yours says type it into google then add driver behind it
7. Download the driver and install
