There are several reasons all of which she wouldn't admit to. 1.She is jealous of some other girl becoming your best friend. 2. She has a dual personality, and is one way with you and another way with them, which would embaress her. 3 She is embaressed of you for I don't know what reason. 4 You have info she doesn't want out about her, may be she lied about something

I keep a "friend" of mine seperate from my other ones coz she gets jealous of me even having other friends. She has already ruined friendships for me by being sooo bloody jealous.

i had to do that with a couple of my friends cos they hated each other and were both very jealous of each other and made crap comments so i saw them seperately, there could be many reasons hun, maybe she just likes time alone with you or thinks you wnt get on with her other friends, perhaps shes embaressed of her other friends.xx

Number of reasons.Maybe they are just trying to be closer to you on a friendship basis, or because they arent comfortable with a group or they dont like your friends but they like hanging out with you,Or jealousy or maybe they just dont want you to find something out about them and are afraid that someone will tell you.But alot of people are like that because when youre alone with someone it gives you the chance to get to know them better plus you get their full attention instead of them having to say things in front of everyone and risk embarassing themselves they can feel more comfortable knowing they wont be judged as badly just hanging out with one person as oppsed to a group of people.

coz circles of friends co exist, often haveing a tenuous bond..in one person... your friend, their co worker...whatever...
they keep you apart to hopefully hold off any awkwardness on anyones part, and thus avoid unneccesary embarrasment...
you may not fit in with the new lifestyle, but, yor friend doesnt just want to dump you... talk to them, and find out rather than jump to conclusions

Because they may just want two lots of friends and not want you to meet because they are insecure with themselves thinking you may not want to know them anymore and become more friendly with the other group of friends and leave them out.

they don't want anyone to be YOUR friend. they just want to be the only friend you have. maybe they're jealous.
