When answering this question, you can't count the big 4: Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, or Survivor Series, because those PPVs will always deliver.
Other than those 4, Unforgiven has always been my favorite. It has always had the best matches, since it became a PPV in 1998.
If you count the big 4, Survivor Series takes the top spot.

I'm with G6260, ROH Driven is so far the best wrestling PPV this year! Each match delivered, no bad match on the card at all. The main event was also spectacular, Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinnes was a ****1/2 star match! Match of the Year candidate!
But if I have to choose a WWE PPV, it would be Backlash, because most of the matches delivered, even though some of the outcomes did piss me off.

Royal Rumble is generally unique with the 30-man royal rumble match and so high stakes on the line...So is Survivor Series most of the times..
But i can't go against the Big Daddy,Global Phenomeno...Wrestlemania..it is something so special about WM..i can't explain it..!!
