The troposphere is from ground level to 20 km.
The stratosphere is from 20 km to 50 km.
The mesosphere is from 50 km to 85 km

Since 50,000 feet is 15.24 km, you are in the troposphere.

Actually, it depends where you are. If you are at the equator, or near it, you are in the troposphere. If you are at the poles or near them, you are in the stratosphere.
