In an essay, when mentioning a store name (like Michaels or Wal-Mart) do I add a symbol or something after it?

I'm mentioning the craft store Michaels in my essay. Is there some sort of trademark or something symbol that I ought to put after it? Thanks =)

No, you can bad mouth Wal-Mart all day long. Your doing it for yourself, not in an ad or for profit.
