I just passed my LPN about two months ago and I want to move on and get my rn. I have heard that excelsior does offer this off the site program... but I want to make sure that it is accreditted. If anyone out there has any information on excelsior then please reply. I want to know the pros and cons of that school. thanks.

They are accredited and it's a very good program. It's particularly well respected in the government.

There may be a licensing issue in California as I recall. Ask about such things with Excelsior, they will tell you the truth.

Understand - this is the HARD way to do it. Those Excelsior exams are very very difficult. It's much easier, and probably cheaper, to find an LPN-RN bridge at your local community college.
