It could happen.

It almost seems too easy when you watch the Patriots play football. It really seems too easy when you're watching exactly what they're doing. It's pretty amazing. They seem to have the answer for everything you do on offense. They seem to have the answer for everything you do on defense. So they execute very well. They're a very well-coached football team. You take Brady with the receivers he has. He has two really good outside receivers. He's got a great slot receiver, he's got a great tight end, and they have a couple of good running backs. And the thing that goes unseen with New England is their offensive and defensive lines and how well they play.

The only team who can beat New England is Indianapolis and they'd have to do it in Indianapolis and in a shoot-out. There is just no containing the Pats offense, but you can out-score them if you win the opening toss and get the ball first. At least, Indianapolis has a chance at that.

Not a fan, and not saying they are going 16-0, but there is no way they will lose to both the Colts and Steelers, and those are the only teams that even have a chance. One might get lucky.

If you watched football regularly for many years you would realize that this is a team in their own league. Perhaps the best ever assembled in the modern era. They make recent Colts teams look like a joke. Losing to both the Colts and Steelers, that is hilarious.

The Pats only have two teams left on their schedule that has a winning record, the Steelers. They play the steelers after a monday night game, so it will be tough, but they'll rise to the occasion and win. The only other team that could challenge them is the giants, but the giants have feasted on bad teams, and if the Pats are 15-0 when they play the Giants, they'll rise to the occasion again. Of course on any sunday anyone can win. I'd give the Pats a 55% chance of going 16-0. If they do this, I'd give them a 70% chance of going 19-0. They're on a mission! Go Pats! They're America's team!

Well Dallas turned the ball over how many times? And most of those turnovers could have been prevented. (Against Buffalo that is) New England is one of the best teams ever at this point and the only team on their schedule with the ability to beat them is Indianapolis, pending injuries or a REALLY bad day. Otherwise it would come down to sitting the starters in the last two weeks of the season resulting in a loss....but I can see them going 16-0, but 14-2 seems more likely considering those facts...Bill Belichek is too smart to let his players get injured chasing perfecting...

It's the same story every season. The last 2 seasons it was the Colts when they started 13-0 and 9-0 respectively, before that it was the Pats after starting 6-0 (i think), and so on.

I just don't see them at the end of the regular season scoring 21 points in the last quarter when they have to keep the starters healthy for the playoffs.

At the moment they clinch home advantage they will play their stars for 2 quarters to keep them in rythm but not risking them to unnecessary injuries, and play with Matt Cassel the second half.

Haha the steelers? The same ones who lost to Arizona? Keep dreaming bud. The Patriots are gonna do it this year, 16-0.

Just for the record, I'm a cowboys fan, and hate the patriots but you have to acknowledge talent.

I'm a Pats fan I don't think 16-0 is reasonable...but the amazing thing is just how good the Pats are and how much debate it has stirred...the Pats are great but nobody should take that record away from the Dolphins...
