“It is right to be afraid of being burnt, but courageous people are not ruled by fear”?

can you help me explain this quote...i know what i wanna say but cant get started. Thanks

I'm sure most individuals have fears of being burnt or the like, but who also in fact can be couragous for a time within, but whom also have an inner fear,that does not over-ride the couragousness.

It is normal to have your doubts and fears about certain things but those very doubts and fears should not deter you from doing what you want to do. There will always be a risk, no matter what you do, but you should not stop doing things because you are afraid.
