There are good ideas from both sides of the isle. Taking in information from all sources and forming an effective plan of action is what moderates do. Unfortunately politics has turned into a team sport so many good ideas are squashed out by the side that yells the loudest.

I think being moderate is a cop-out. A fence-straddler. It basically means you have no opinions about anything that are firm enough to move you to action. I mean, it's OK to not form an opinion about every single issue that comes up... sometimes, it just doesn't affect us or we just don't care. But I think making a habit of that is dangerous.

Moderates are those who generally have little opinion and bad things happen to moderates. It is moderates that let the socialist get as powerful as they are. Now the battle is raging.
