Yup, I'd wake up crying at night because of it. But still, I didn't have her till 2 days overdue. It's just something that happens at the end. Especially in my pelvic area, it was hard to even get out of bed! It huer SO bad!

I had the same thing. No matter what I did I was so uncomfortable. I thought for sure it was a sign that the baby was ready to come out, but I ended up being a week late! That was one more week of backaches! Good Luck!

Sounds like the baby dropped. Try to get as comfortable as you can. You might try a reclining chair, that worked for me during the last weeks. Being uncomfortable during the last couple of weeks is actually a good thing. It gets you over any fears you might have because you can't WAIT for the baby to just be outta there! Hang in there, you'll have an adorable baby soon :D

I had back pain around 7 months to where I could not get comfortable sitting or laying down. I still went to term and my daughter was even 1 week late!
My mom, on the other hand, got severe lower back pain and a few hours later...there I was!

Yes. It's usually caused by the baby transitioning or dropping in your pelvis. The baby can drop so far it either presses on your sciatic nerve or cause your back to ache from being so low in your pelvis. Also, that can be early labor or false labor pains. Good luck! You're almost there!

I felt REALLY strong pressure in my pelvic area, I felt like I was walking with a bowling ball between my legs!! That was at about 38 weeks and I went to term, so I think your baby is on his way!!!! All the best! :o)

Sounds like your baby is getting ready to come.
In your last few weeks on pregnancy, your baby "drops" into your pelvis ready for birth. So that could be causing the back pain, either than or you are in the early stages of labour, I had really bad back pain while in labour with my daughter.

Yes ,it gets harder the later you get into term. I would get on my hands and knees on my bed and try to gently arch my back bone up. That would ease the pain temporarly.I had 5 children.

Your spine starts to curve forward during pregnancy. It's new flatter shape guides the baby through the birth canal. Female spines curve out and make the backside stick out more. It's one of the ways we attract men to impregnant us. It's also one of the ways we can identify the gender of a skeleton. After you have your baby, your backside won't pooch out as much.

You should try bouncing on a yoga ball for awhile, it can really help.
Or seeing a chiropractor:
