Personally, I think people care more about looks but they can only take you so far...IDK-What do you think? Do you agree with me or do you think looks really do matter that much? Do you think that people are vein and shallow?

It's hard to generalize but if I had to say for the most part, i would have to say looks. People are always going for the cute or hot guys or girls and ignore those who may not look as good but have way better personalities. It's just the way the world is.

Realistically, I think that it's a balance between the two that many people look for. It really depends what the results are that you want. People who are only interested in flings and one night stands (and that's a lot of people I personally know) will obviously not care so much about personality and go exclusively for looks. Others who are looking for something more serious might tend to ignore physicalities more. Unfortunately, many people try to look for what is out of their league which causes them to become even more shallow when they are rejected. I think that is the problem a lot of people have.

Most people today are Shallow, but that does not mean their aren't any people out there who really now what to look for.
Personally, I look for:
Looks [I like the Gothic Types]
Brains [I like the Smart ones]
PErsonality [I hate perky girls...Just someone down to earth with a dark personality]
And Chemistry
If being around said person makes me feel...elevated

I think looks are important for initial attraction. It's what gets your foot in the door. But personality is what keeps the ball rolling. You couldn't discover a person's personality unless you were first attracted enough to find out about it.

Well I think that its a person's looks that get you interested in someone at first, but it also has to do with the person's personality. I don't think someone could truly fall in love with a person who was beautiful in the outside but horrible internally.

It helps getting jobs and attention from people.
But looks can be deceiving! So beware!
