With all due respect Leo; Silcone and rubber do not equate. they are entirely different substances.

To make a mask certainly there are multiple options; and NOT USING YOUR FACE as a mold.

A plaster cast of your face is possible however; though you might endure minor burning. Resins/ paper mache are two choices you might explore.

Make Me a mask? Hmmm.

I create masks; but not strictly as items to be worn.

If you plan to use your face to mold the mask on, coat your face with vaseline, thickly.

There are all kinds of formulas for making homemade masks. None of which are silicone or rubber based.

This one is for paper-mache type masks:

This one provides latex mask making kits:

You can also use Sculpey Clay, available at craft stores and some other stores. Shape the Sculpey. Let it dry and then you bake it to harden it. Instructions are on the package. It remains pliable after baking but hardened to a chocolate brown color, which is paintable.

Don't listen to them Leo !
If you want to stick your head in a potentially lethal blend of silicone and rubber you go for it.
