Yes. Your science GPA is extremely important. You'll need to do better in your next biology class. If you get another C, you'll need to retake the class.

It shouldn't hamper your chances unless your GPA tanks. Be sure to do really well (in terms of grades) in your second semester.

well, its just your first semester, try harder your next one, and it probably average out well.
