I'm an aspiring actor/model and recently met with an agency called Tannen's Talent in White Plains. Anyone out there heard of them or ever worked with them? I want to get with the best agency I can. Thanks!!!

As long as the agency doesn't charge a fee who cares.
Understand they only get work for about 20 out of the 400 they handle.
This is normal.
A big little agency near the Finger Lakes represents that teenie girl in the Wal-Mart optical department ad.
That's about her only claim to fame in 5 years.
The girl with the tennis racket and glasses who looks about 15.
That's her big shot.
The company probably shot 20 different people and someone in marketing liked HER and that's why she's in every store on the wall.
She may have gotten $100 - $500 for that session and that was it.

The best agencies are in NYC. You won't find the best agency in White Plains.
If you want the best, mail your headshot/résumé to Talent Agencies in Manhattan.

I looked at their web page and was disappointed by the quality of the headshots of their talent pool. I'd keep looking if I were you.
