If the Yankees lose, every sox "fan" jumps on excuses for losing, but you lose a big game last night, and the baseball section is flooded with excuses on why they couldnt hold it together in the late innings. If they lose game 3, is the next excuse the sox arent used to the central time zone hour difference?

Red Sox fans are EXTREMELY hypocritical. They complain of the Yankees salary, when there's is rising every year, and it's not that far off. They make excuses New York hasn't won a World Series in 7 years, yet, where were they in the playoffs in 2001, 2002 and 2005? They're so thrilled that they came back and won 4 in 2004, yet, they seem to forget about Aaron Boone the year before. Oh, and who can forget Boston Massacre II? The Yankees won 5 straight then, and 19 of their last 29 games, against Boston. OUCH!

I'm not a Red Sox fan, but that sounds a lot like a Yankee fan. Making excuses everytime they lose is exactly what they do. I've never heard of any other fan doing that.

Yes i am a red sox fan. No i am not hypocritical. The only time i complain is when the red sox lose that is the only time other than that if they win im happy as pig in ****, Why should anyone complain about them winning anyhow they won no need to complain. I am a true fan, i could careless whether they win or not but if i see them doing good all year i except them to win becaus e they have such high hopes for the fans not just for themselves but for the fans too. The fans want to see them win another WS, I know i do I have only seen one in my life time and i have only been to one game but i watch every single game of theres. So why should i need to complain?

Some are, and others aren't-- but you can say the same for any fanbase.
There are many, many Red Sox fans. Do you honestly think that every single one of them thinks the same way? Do you have the same opinions as every single person who likes the same team you like?
By the way, Ohio is in the eastern time zone.

they always b-tch about the same sh-t every day theyre all just angry cuz they suck lmao gagne the payroll thing always kills me ok we have the highest payroll in baseball red sox are number 2 and the whole thing about the yanks buying their talent is great because if you look at their team they have very few original red sox papelbon youkilis and varitek thats about it then look at the yankees pettitte was an original yankee wang mo joba farnsworth hughes jeter cano matsui posada just to name a few we HAVE tradition unlike all the other teams in baseball well except the cubs. they always lose. bottom line is the red sox fans are the worst in all of sports. bandwagon f-ckers

Most of us, not me, are critical maybe. The bottom line is it's so fun when you're IN the playoffs.
If you want excuses, visit the Yankees area. They made a valiant attempt, but their pitching was TOAST when the season ended.

They can't say their better then the yankees because they made the second round of the playoffs,Hell if they lose,, that will make them as bad as the Mets BC they had their lead ALL YR!! No excusses for them not to win!!
