He told a blatent lie UNDER OATH. That is what the impeachment was about. If he had told the truth. "I DID have sex with that woman." He would not have been impeached, and the truth came out anyway.

Yes, I supported the impeachment of President Clinton 100%.
No, it was a bi-partisan event. Charged with Obstruction of Justice and Perjury he as a Lawyer was disbarred. But Ken Starr had a hard time making anything stick. There were more charges that did not even get to him. Clinton went on National TV stating, finger extended, I did not have sex with that woman.
I had my 10 yr old nephew in the room with me. Then the B*j is not sex spin? What do you tell him then?
William Jefferson Clinton made the investigation criminal. His reactions were illegal, not the act. Not at the prompting of any political party. He has been quoted since that if it was not for the dress Monica Lewinsky provided he probably would never even told his wife. It's in one of his books. Blame the man.
He already had criminal experience as January 21,1977 Carter pardoned the felon from his draft dodging crimes.

He was the target of a GOP smear campaign, simple as that. The irrational hatred the Republicans have of the Clintons is typical of their small, partisan minds. Clinton did lie but it was about a private act that was highly embarrassing and had ZERO to do with how he ran the country.
This was a hatchet job, pure and simple and a huge waste of taxpayer money simply for GOP hubris. It showed how the GOP puts party and power over the good of the country.

he was impeached because he lied about a bloww job!!!!!
Bush has lied about the "threat" of Iraq with WMD's and the need for a regime change in Iraq!!!!!
Clinton's love conquered Bill's horniness while Bush's love of $$$$$ has ruined Iraq and created a privatization of the war the is allowing for atrocities and mass amounts of money being spent by our citizens to private contractors....
let's see what's worse???

I could care less what the man did in this private time. But to lie under oath on my time was wrong.

The decision to pursue the impeachment was a political one. Even many hard core righties now see that it was a mistake.
