He was born a black child. As a man he suffers from a skin altering disease and OCD with cosmetic surgery. Some said to resemble his idol Diana Ross.
He is considered mysterious. Yet probably one of America's musical genius's for all time. Smart too. He bought the Beatles library of songs years ago. Lately? Well even Vincent Van Gogh went alittle crazy as did Freud.

If you see pics of him when he was younger with the Jackson 5, you will see that he is an African American. He has had treatments to lighten his skin along with various other procedures to change his looks. He strikes me as a talented, yet confused and insecure person. I respect his talent but feel sorry for him as a person.

He has a skin disease that some blacks have that cause the skin to lose pigment in some areas. He has treated his skin and "looks" white. However, it is only because he is trying to make his skin all the same color as the skin that has lost its pigmentation or dark color. Because he is in show business, he does it because he doesn't want to look like a freak. Oops, too late.

Well he is a black man. He has lightened his skin mostly due to a desire to be white. However, I am sure the rest of his family and friends still consider him a black man.

I will anwer this question two fold.
1. It is a known fact that MJ is black and it will be foolish to consider someone black to be white and vice versa.
2. Its MJ alone who considers himself to be white because you and i and everyone knows that he is black. He considers himself white simply because he suffers from inferiority complex and believe me, it's his problem.
