Have you ever watched Dogma? At the end, even Jay says "can have sex up until the third trimester". So, there is nothing wrong with sex while pregnant until the last three months. If he's really a bit freaked, tell him you'll be on top. That way, you can stop if you think he's hit the baby (which can't actually happen that I know of).

There are several reasons why your boyfriend might be reluctant to have sex with you:
1) He's scared of hurting the baby...I actually knew of a guy who wouldn't have sex with his pregnant gf because he thought the tip of his penis would hit the baby's head! Actually, if you are having a normal pregnancy, there is NO danger in sex...I had sex the day before I delivered my daughter.
2) Your boyfriend might be a bit freaked out by your changing body...though he might grow to like it...many men find a pregnant woman to be very sexy.
3) He might be nervous about the role changes...you will still be his girlfriend, but you are also soon going to be a mom.

first i have to say that gahedder's answer was funny! i did say that to my bf when i was pregnant! i just love to tease him...lol
But i know that some guys are not comfortable having sex during the pregnancy and it is really frustrating as some women if not all are really "horny" during pregnancy!
My bf was like that after the baby started kicking...
And even if you tell him that it is okay to have sex, it won't change his mind...well, you can try!
It is funny though all the things i've heard...like well what if he sees my penis, or it touches the baby, i don't want the baby to see that...lol
Tell him to do something else than, and if it soesn't work, do like i did, do it yourself!!! lol

Do some research on the Internet. Next question: What in the hell are you doing getting pregnant when you're not married? Don't you have any respect for the future of your child? Sorry to sound judgmental, but sweetheart, you're playin' a fools game. Wake up before you screw up TWO lives.

its actually good to have sex during pregnancy. Especially during the last stages, because seamen contains a horimone that helps in streaching the u know what, so the birth will be easier.

Tell him it's perfectly safe. If you can't convince him, next time you go to the Doc take your b/f and ask the doctor so he's aware. maybe he's lying and he's not scared- he just isn't attracted to you since you've probably gained some weight. that's horrible- but it may be true.

Take him with you to the Dr. and have the Dr. explain that it is perfectly safe and OK to have sex while you're pregnant. And why don't you get married?
