I think we're ok until Wednesday - there is an injunction till then. In the meantime the union is considering a 2.5% pay increase, not much really but probably enough. There are a few wildcat strikes but 98% of staff should be back at work on Monday.

Unless the Union has instructed them to go back to work, they will still be on strike. I read that the Liverpool postmen are ignoring the Court order and carrying on with the strike. Remember how the car industry died because of the liverpool strikers in the car industry? They ended up with no jobs to go to.

Did you deliver it recorded or have a monitoring sort? if so, you are able to examine it on the Royal Mail internet site.

they cant make strikes illegal and I'm sure their union will make sure of that.
they said that they will make a decision whether to stop striking or not tomo.. which if they decide to stop striking then i will believe that they will start delivering mail again on Tue.
but i have soo much mail waiting for me.. very important ones too. so i hope that will sort something out.

I don't know because I haven't heard but because they are ran by the government I doubt that it would be illegal for them to strike.
