like when they stand really close to your face and have to touch you while they talk? and you just met them but they still act like they've known you forever well enough to invade your space and stand close enough to see the pores in your face?

it makes me really uncomfortable but i would feel rude to say something. i back away but they don't get it. i have had a rough day with a person like that.

how do you feel about those kinds of people?

I hate when strangers feel like they can get that close to me and I will be comfortable with it. I have a personal bubble that is only to be brpken by family and close friends.

You know what is worse though? Strangers who touch your baby without permission. THAT is the worst. I always want to smack their hands. MY BABY! Get your nasty germs outta here!

I hate when people I don't know insist on touching me when the talk...or they stand so close you can smell what they had to eat or drink last...I was a bartender for years and that was one of my biggest problems with the job...I got to the point where no matter how much you stepped back or tried to politely let it be known that they were in my personal space that I used to take my foot and say watch where it goes...I would then draw an imaginary line around myself. I would then tell them that if they came inside that box again no matter where I was standing I would put the foot that I drew the line with in their ***...lol It got the point across to them pretty fast..my regulars found it pretty funny when I would have to tell praitrons that..

Tell them "Listen,---get a ten foot pole before you touch me again. It's not familiarity that breeds contempt ; it's undue familiarity. You stuck on stupid--- or permanent zoom?

It does not bother me that much. Sometimes it feels good to have someone pat my arm or back.
