all of a sudden turn bi-sexual. For years I have been friends with this guy. He never liked or dated girls at all, just guys. He said that all of a sudden he had desires for women too. What gives? I didn't think a persons sexuality changed? He is in his late thirties. If he was bi-sexual all the time wouldn't he have known it before now. Obviously a persons sexuality can and does change.

I knew the answer to you people that can't face the fact you are gay and chose that lifestyle would answer with: oh, he was bi all along and didn't know it. He is 38 years old. Why would it take him so long to figure that out. You know that junk about being born gay don't make sense. Why don't all of you admit it. There are people that pretend to like you, but behind your backs they are disgusted and sick to their stomachs just thinking about the very act. And gay men are laughed at continually. How can you stand your lives? There is a choice but you don't want to hear about it. You don't have to be that way, but it is what you choose. What is so fun about being lonely, ridiculed and being left to yourself? How can a relationship be worth all of that? It is backwards and that's all there is to it. If it weren't, things would be the other way around. There would be 95% gays and 5% straights. Come on, get it in your head. It's weird and abnormal no matter how you look at it.

Its a choice just like ANYTHING in life! You can choose to be whatever, where ever,... when ever, but at the end you have to see what is the point? I dont get gay people. I edited my comment because I like to make a point.
If you dont feel you have a choice or the will to choose what makes sense and is good then you DONT know who you are and I feel sorry those people. Shows they are weak and are unable to accept the reality of who they are, their gender and the responsibilities they have on earth. If it doesnt make sense then its not the truth. Yes It does make sense to show all people love but not like an animal in heat. Even if they are hetrosexual.

For anyone here in this question, thats gonna insult this man, they need to hold their tongue. Just think about it ;most people hate gay people for religious purposes, but when you really think about it, they are twisted. Gay people just show their love for someone else. Are you showing jesus love by criticizing. I am pretty sure I remember jesus saying dont judge unless you shall be judged. Learn some tolerence. Hating is hate no matter what its against. Only evil people are humans
Ok as far as your question goes little Miss,it could happen. If you are religious at least. For example I believe in reincarnation. Maybe a female soul decides to come in a male body. Imagine how much confusion this would put on a human body. I'm not saying all gay people are like this, but at least a couple.
Maybe he just loves everybody, and likes showing his love in a physical way for everything all of a sudden. Nobody knows all the answers.biologicly, who knows.

I am beginning to think, and I hope no one is offended, that the classifications of sexuality are too strict. I mean, I say I am heterosexual, but I will gladly admit there are some women whom I find extremely attractive. My gay friends say the same thing--although they are generally attracted to their own gender, there are very specific members of the opposite sex whom they find attractive. It doesn't change the fact that they, overall, prefer one gender; it just means there are exceptions.

People lying/confused about their sexuality... nothing new.
And of course I base all my statistics just on one example.
Still, it sounds liket he's confused. Not like there's anything wrong with that, but usually most people know what they're into sexually by then. Kind of like when teenagers experiment... it doesn't mean that they're all gay, bisexual, or straight, does it? Because most people wouldn't be "straight" anymore by that logic.

one hundred % Gold Star lesbian, right here. in no way been with, or been drawn to a person. I do not hate guys in any respect...I have plenty of male peers. Sure, I can appear at a person and spot that he's good-looking, good-dressed, in satisfactory form, and so forth....however in no way have I felt any sexual emotions. if I had been additionally drawn to guys, that might make me bisexual, now not lesbian. equal with asking if a homosexual guy is ever drawn to females.

A person's sexuality DOESN'T change.
Just because he never told you that he was bisexual doesn't mean that he's not.
A man might say, "I'M GAY, I'M GAY, I'M GAY" and be the most openly gay person you know, but secretly go home and look at hetero porn on the computer. Why? Who knows?

I personally think noone should limit their sexuality with arbitrary labels. You never know who you are gonna meet and fall in love with, so why try and guess what sex they will be. (I am a man who has, so far, always dated women)
