Hernani Fermin, 35 yr old married father, was diagnosed HIV positive. he left his job as a sales representative. His doctor suggested he rethink his carrer goals.

He sent out resumes . Finally one was well received by South Hills Middle school. They had a opening in their math department, plus a need for someone to coach after-school athletics, and they wanted to meet with him. He hadn't interviewed since the twins were born seven years ago. He thought about the question normally asked--would there be some question about his health ? Being HIV positive shouldn't have any bearing on his ability to teach, but parents might be concerned. And it might be disqualify him for the school's health insurance policy. Hernani believed in honesty, but what would happen to his family revealed his HIV status?

Your doctor can not reveal this information to your employer without your permission, unless they have a court order. Your doctor can't reveal this information. By law the school can not legally ask you about your health during the interview process, if they do you are not legally required to answer. Obviously though it's best to be up front and honest. You can not be discriminated against for being HIV positive. It's against the law for them to do so.

Hopefully you have made your family aware of your diagnosis so they can be tested ASAP. By law you are required to tell anyone you have had sexual contact with that you have been diagnosed. Your doctor was required by law to inform the Health Department of your diagnosis. It is your legal responsibility to inform your spouse and any other sexual partners or someone you have shared a needle with, etc.

This well being status don't have something to do along with his job, if it is not affecting every physique........it rather is not any one employer, of course if the school hears approximately this the mothers and dads will hear approximately this and this might reason severe issues....human beings look to think of you may get it by employing coming in touch with someone in a non-sexual way.
