The ratio of similarity between two polygons is 2:3. if the perimeter of the simliar polygon is 14, find the perimeter of the larger polygon.


please help i have no clue what im doing

14:p = 2:3
p = 21

Well the ratio of the perimieters is 2:3 or 2/3

so basically you set it up like 2/3 = 14/x where x is the perimeter of the bigger polygon. Then you cross multiply to get

2x=42
x=21
