no, injured reserve means you are done for the year, but are eligible to play if your team makes the playoffs.

Nope, once you are on injured reserve you are out for the entire season.

yeah but it would be stupid to play coming from the injury reserve, you'll get even more injured

no but they can come back after six games if they are put on the PUP (player unable to perform) list in the beginning of the year.

the only way you can is if your team puts you on ir, and then later decides they do not need you and cuts you then you can sign with another team and play for them it usually only happens with kickers.
