Also, who committed the Istanbul Pogroms, atheists, muslims, or both?

"The pogroms were about nationalism and ethnicity, not religion."

And you speak for all Muslims? Since when have Muslims NEVER used anything as an excuse to persecute Christians or Jews? Don't you know the ole "Remember the crusades" excuse? You are that ignorant of history and Muslims are you?

"And Atheists had nothing to do with any of it."

Atheists who say false things like you did above, and who slander, stalk, harass, and persecute, and show bias clear bias towards Christians, including like you've done here, don't contribute a thing do they? Especially not China who engages in violent persecution of Christians, or during when their former neighbor Stalin's was alive?

"You really need to give this atheism stuff a rest."

Cuz u said so and whatever you say is true.

"It looks ridiculous."

It looks ridiculous for you to tell me stupid lies and to comand me when you pretend we're mere animals and to pretend to speak for the world, including my Christian family.

And evil babbler, did I accuse atheists of anything on this question? Evil babbler, isn't this a place where Yahoo permits people to do research and find out answers? Why then are you putting words in my mouth and putting a false negative spin on my question, which has asked who did what? So then, you are the stupid and ridiculous one. If you won't obey God's rules, why don't you obey Yahoo's, you "negative", "judgmental", "critical" fault-finder?

The government of Turkey is constitutionally secular. According to the CIA World Fact Book, 99.8% of the Turkish population is Muslim. The remaining 0.2% are either Christian (mostly Greek Orthodox) or Jewish. There is no significant number of professed atheists in Turkey (or maybe they fear persecution).

The Istanbul Pogroms were committed by nationalistic Turks against the city's Greek community. Since the vast majority of Turks are Muslim, and most Turkish Greeks are Christian, you could say the Muslims perpetrated them on the Christians. But that would be missing the point.

The pogroms were about nationalism and ethnicity, not religion. And Atheists had nothing to do with any of it. You really need to give this atheism stuff a rest. It looks ridiculous.
