In my old neighborhood all of the time as a kid. Heard shots a few hours later someone would knock on the door and say "Hey you know so & so's son just got killed" Then my parents would get up get dressed go to so and so's home along w the rest of the neighborhood and console so and so's mom and dad. This happened so much I only have eight friends that I grew up with that are still living. Two are in prison The other two are cracked out

Im not saying this to get 10pts but gun violence was an everyday and everynight event in my old neighborhood.

I can still say that my childhood was the best days of my life.

I've heard weapons going off in the city. I've never seen a shoot out but I've heard shots.

I used to live in a pretty rough part of town and the shootings were pretty common. I have heard many of them, but have only seen one.

Only once in my life, and it was a week ago this past Friday... three or four blocks from where I live, some dude brought a gun to a party, got pissed at some people and shot two of them. They survived.
