its up to you. but just remember what is the probability that you're gonna last with this current guy. Having a boyfriend and dating in high school is the most pointless thing ever. If you have sex now, the next guy because there will be a next once your lose your virginity will want only 1 thing. Waiting till you get married sounds perfect to the ears but how realistic is it though. I would personally wait until you know for sure that your gonna be able to deal with the rumors, even your so-called friends will talk about you. Thats what high school is.

What do YOU want? Even if you wait till you get married, it doesn't mean that you will stay together forever! I just think that 16 is a little too young to have sex, you can worry bout that later! I was 16, and still think it is too young! If you want to have sex before marriage it is still okay, being catholic you are supposed to wait till marriage i think, and i don't know anybody that did that...my mom had 3 kids when she got married...lol What i do belive, is that you have to love the person, and know that he loves you back...just don't go out with a guy for 2 weeks and have sex!!! but it is up to you!

It is bad to lose your virginity if you haven't been with your boyfriend at least 6 months, and you love each other, and if you are not protected against disease and pregnancy. It is bad if you are doing it in a car or some other raunchy place. It is bad if you are not ready. It is bad if you don't have the basic understanding that you are only ready if you are prepared to financially and emotionally care for the child that could result.
Just do your research first and the truth is if he loves you he will wait until you are ready and not having sex will not ever hurt either one of you and a man is controlled by his mind not his member as some people would like you to think.

These days, Its totally up to you. Its no longer considered 'normal' to wait until marraige, although that would probably be a good decision for many people. You just have to ask yourself if youre emotionally ready for the baggage that comes with it and able to get your hands on adequate protection.

It is not generally considered wise to have sex while your still in high school.
I won't tell you it is better to wait until marriage, because I don't think it is. But depending on your religious beliefs it may be important to you.
