ok, first off, how hard is it to get representation from a talent agency? And second, once you are signed, what happens? I know they look for acting jobs for you, but do they get a lot or does it take forever for anything to come up?

It is how but not to hard just call a couple make appointments and go they have to pick someone so it might as well be you. They WILL get you auditions but it really depends on what casting directors are looking for at the time though. It has happened that someone has gotten an audition to go to instantly so don't worry just go for it.

Very hard. You have to have a good resume and have the look they want. Once you are signed they will do their best to get you some auditions, or interviews. But you have to get the job by impressing the casting director when you get there.
So you need to learn how to interview and audition.
