The Bible does not say that abortion is a sin. God commanded his followers to kill and rip open pregnant women (Numbers 31:17, Ezekiel 9:6, Hosea 13:16), and killed millions of pregnant women himself (Flood & Plagues). There are even Biblical instructions on how to abort the pregnancy of a woman who is suspected of being unfaithful (Numbers 5:12-31).

According to the Bible, man became a living soul when the BREATH of life was BREATHED into his nostrils (Genesis 2:7). Fetuses do NOT breathe through their nostrils until after BIRTH. In Biblical times, male babies were not counted as persons until they were a month old, and female babies were not counted at all (Numbers 3:15). The Bible also says that some would be better off if they had never been born (Ecclesiastes 6:3-5, Matthew 26:24).

Get thee behind me, Satan.
All this bible verse throwing without actually saying what the verse entails is not actual instruction. Please don't quote verses then never go into details. It only shows ignorance. God didn't command any of these things you claim. The Bible was wrote by man...
Please, everyone who reads this, realize that the bible was wrote by man and that God is love, not a baby killer. War is war and man has a will of his own.
And, if people quote the bible but only tell half the story, don't tell exactly what the verses say, they are holding back the truth. I want the whole truth, just like if you tell a half truth to the police. It's not the truth, it's a lie.

I'm pro choice. I was raped and got pregnant. I had my child, my son. He was a joy to raise, a sweet loving child.
He has grown to a beautiful man that loves me, a man that
respects women to the fullest and who's been married for years. I believe it's a woman's right to make that choice on her own and that God is a true loving entity that will forgive anything. If god can forgive a murderer, surely he can forgive a woman that made a mistake. My god doesn't throw lightning bolts at everyone's as- just because he can. He's love, true enough.
PEACE

Am I supposed to go out and get an abortion now after this little epiphany? God will forgive me? I prefer to live my life responsibly and safely (cross my fingers that I am never raped)...
The bible can be interpreted so many ways by so many people, and it is already of vague value. It was not a book penned by the hand of god and given to man. It was stories written hundreds of years after the events occured, and many are analogies and anecdotes not undeniable fact. Also consider that it has been through numerous editing and language translations over these last thousand years... also consider that it is marred by human understanding, as these deep truths are beyond human abilities to record and relate to

very interesting, I have to look that up in the bible all the ammo I can get I have in laws that are overly religious and try to convert me and my family at least 3 times a year and are rude about it so thanks a bunch, I always believed it was a book similar to Grimm's fairy tales, horror stories to keep people subservient
