The reason I can't answer these questions is because I don't recall learning about them last year.

not metallic, not covalent.
2. positively charged vs. negatively charged: Na+, Cl-
atomic ion vs. molecular ion: K+, (H3C)4N+
single charged vs. multiply charged: OH-, PO4(3-)
3. electrons bounded to each ions in ionic solids, while electrons can move around in metal.
