Well, the problem is the gas that escaped when you broke the glass, accidentally or not. And THAT is what you cannot personally replace.
Bummer. As the owner of the said door if owner would pay and you make payments to him/her, you being broke and all.

You can't fix it, that's why you can't find a place in the phone book. The panes have argon, an inert gas, between the panes to keep them from fogging up, once the seal is broken, that all she wrote, it's all gone.
Now you have to have the "man" come out and replace the entire unit. And, it's not cheap so, you might want to try and get by with what you have until you get enough together to put in a new window.

Not that I am aware of, since it is a stationary door the window pane or door or both would have to be cut. You would have to use the one designed to fit the slider glass door. I'm not sure if that is what you already have. These work well and lock which offer you the same security as the slider does.

Were do you live? If you were to include this with your question, it would be easier to answer it for you, but....
Open up the Yellow Pages and look under glass. There you should find an assortment of headings and individual listings for glass suppliers, windows, doors, skylights, etc.etc.etc.. I would suggest calling the one that is closest to your home and ask if they MAKE replacement panels for insulated glass doors. And make sure you have the dimensions wrote down before you place the call.
If the first place says they don't make replacement panels, ask them to recommend somebody in your area that does.

Look in the phone-book for glass cutters. If you take the door off the hinges and take it to them, it will be a ton cheaper than having them come to you. Call for an appointment, and have someone keep guard while you go to get it fixed. You may hve to keep it overnight, so hopefully you have a screen door, or can cover it with plastic while the door is fixed.

Our dog broke a pane of glass if one of our windows and it cost $65 to repair. We called a glass repair place from the phone book and they came right to the house, measured cut and repaired it withing a matter of minutes. good luck.
