I live in a neighborhood in a somewhat rural area. There is an area behind my house that is mostly woods but this area is surrounded by residential homes. Today I found a camoflage (?) tent behind obviously set up to kill something, it is within about 200 feet from my house. Is this legal? as i said it is near homes and if a shot were to go off in error in the wrong direction someone could be hurt.
If this is not legal who could I call???? Who could i call anyway, this concerns me.

I feel like going out there tonight and cutting the ties on the stupid tent.

Wildlife belongs to the state. Call state wildlife people. There are rules limiting hunting in a residential area.......200 feet is way too close.

Call the police. There are laws concerning how close to dwelling you can shoot. Don't wait for it to happen, and don't bother calling the wildlife dept.
