When do tickets for the 2010 World Cup come out?

If i had to guess, I'd say not at least till we know who's playing in the world cup, so probably not till early to mid 2010.

FIFA tends to release tickets in batches.

I would expect several release dates over 2008 and 2009.

Contrary to what the previous answer said, all of the teams will be determined by November of 2009 with the draw for the actual World Cup (i.e. the 32 finalists) being conducted in December of 2009. After the finals draw, they tend to release the last batch of tickets with most of that batch going to the associations who are participating in the competition.

I do not think that they have officially begun the ticketing process yet, but you can check the FIFA website for more details (www.fifa.com).

P.S. As best as I can tell, the bids for the agency to run the ticket process were due at FIFA at the beginning of October. I would assume that once FIFA awards the bid (sometime between now and the end of the year) that there will be an anouncement about applying for the right to buy tickets (and there are always more applications than tickets available).
