It's walking around on the wall... pretty restless...
No lie, it's almost as big as my hand
I have no hubby to rescue me
The sofa in the living room is not all that comfy
I need a solution...

It's next to the mirror now... thought there were two of them for a minute now! Phew!
What would you have done if you were in my shoes?

I've had one in the living room for over a week now, he's called Sydney, and won't give me the remote back. His cousin has moved into the bath, too, so now not only do I have to watch endless fly on the wall TV, I'm smelly too. At least yours let you have the couch....

Sunbeam, kill that spider & sleep in your own comfy bed.
Some might say that is one of God's creatures. I f you are one of those Iam sorry for you. If I where in your shoes I would ask God to forgive me if this is wrong and I would smash it. God gave me common sense & expects me to use it. I think this time is now. Spiders can be deadly. I don't kill the little grey house spider but what you describe is a monster. I'm itching all over just thinking about it. Good luck girl ~~jill

Take a glass and a piece of card. Place glass over spider, slide card underneath and pick it up, keeping the card tight to the glass. Open a window or door, throw spider away from you, laughing maniacally. Close window or door. Sleep in your bedroom. I'm terrified of the big, scary things as well, but I'll do anything to get them OUT OF MY HOUSE! Good luck and may the force be with you......

Well, I would get the vacuum, unleash the hose and then turn it on. Spiders seem to run towards it...suction it up and then empty the vac outside.Failing that you could always ask it to move over a bit, it will surely let you share the duvet.

I would just put a disposable cup over it and drag it to the door then release it and hope it don't come back. I live in the country and we get a lot of spiders, ewww I don't like them

What would I do? Nothing. I like spiders.
But you could follow the advice above with the jar and piece of card. Be careful not to hurt the spider, and take it right outside and put it on the garden wall or it might come back in.

I don't like spiders but I don't kill them either. I have heard they are attracted to a human breath and when you sleep they could crawl into your mouth. Try to find it and release it outside where it will be better to you and the environment.

I would have whacked it with my slipper, I would not be able to sleep with that walking around in the house, Fortunately my dog catches spiders and chews them until they are dead then i scoop the legs up and flush them down the loo.
