Should I start saving now?

You better start saving, everything will become more expensive then during normal travel times. I'd guess at least $1,750 for airfare (maybe more), and $200 a night for hotels, tickets will run at least $150 (though scalpers may have them for less). I'd love to go too.

EDIT: If it's like Germany, tickets won't go on sale til 2009.

The tickets are probably sold out. You may want to check Ebay in like June of 2010.

Treat it like a holiday cos surely USA wont get past group stages cos they call it soccer when its called Football (the clue is in the title ie Football World Cup). And England will win cos Brazil and Germany wont have decent players in two years time and England have many great young players who will come into fruition in 18 months time.
